Okay, no feel to start studying now so shall blog about countdown. Haha (:
5 more days before the start of my first paper. and the very first paper is like D: the worst module ever, and I can safely say, no one likes it. It really sucks!!!! So confusing and stuff.. I can't seem to get some important stuff into my head. I tried studying just now.
Surprisingly, I'm starting to study earlier, instead of one day before each paper. But yeah I just started today and I can't say it's definitely productive given the fact I kinda forgot whatever I studied alr.
Overslept today and skipped tutorial in the morning. Guilty and not guilty at the same time cos anyway this tutor doesn't really know what he's talking and I can't understand him so.... anyways shall sleep early today so that I will not oversleep again!
That's about it! I hope I don't screw up my common test, and this is probably gonna be the only countdown post. Haha
Till then!

Netball Training Camp 2012
Honestly speaking, it wasn't easy planning this camp and making it possible, with all the last minute changes and having to go through all the approval process. It was all done in a rush. On top of that, we had to think about the possible turnout of the camp, because it was near common test period! BUT at the end of the day, it was worth it (:
Despite all the lack of time that we got, Marisa and I pulled through (: Really wanna thank her for believing in me, giving me the heads up for everything! ♥
Captain's Badge:
My Badge:
Another difficulty faced was the programme of the camp itself. We had to ensure it felt like a training camp, and at the same time we could not tire our Netballers out too much due to upcoming common tests!
First day was a rather slack day, doing the basic ball passes due to the lightning alert. We were supposed to have training but we didn't get a proper court for a proper training. I would call it a rather slack day for a training camp!
Second day we went all out! Started off with morning run! (It didn't turn out as planned, because it was going to be a hassle going to school for a 2.4km run so we ran at Kismis Field instead, it was definitely less than 2.4km) My stamina is really bad... so glad my team mates' fitness is so much better. Time to train up! Overall 6 rounds around the Kismis Field before breakfast. That's not it! We went on with lesson on the Netball rules before physical training. To be frank, I myself isn't familiar with all the Netball rules.. only the common ones!
Physical training felt like a day of training! I guess we can count ourselves lucky because we were supposed to be at the Netball court but we ended up with training indoor due to the rain. Planks, Suicides, Push-ups, Stairs. It was a good work out though! After physical training was lunch, and yes EVERYONE was VERY HUNGRY! Shows how much effort they put in (:
Training at night didn't turn out as planned either, we only managed to book half a Netball court but it was good enough to train for 3 on 3 carnival. Ended the night with debrief then movie! Not everyone watched the movie and yeah I feel kinda bad I didn't download the movie before hand, hence wasting a lot of time waiting for the download ): The movie was really nice!
The second day felt like 2 days!!
People (My Netballers who are reading this), believe in yourself and know that you don't have to be what others want you to be. Just be yourself, and be proud of who you are (:
The very last day, we gave out awards! Gave out the badges to those who pulled through the camp (though it may not be the best training camp), really appreciated that they came. Other awards include; Best attendance - Loyal Netballer (There were 3 of them! - Jolene, Adeline and Terence), Fittest Netballer and Best Camper. The last 2 awards were really a tough decision for Marisa and myself. We discussed for the longest possible time!
I only have a picture of the badge campers got! Forgot to take pic of the individual badges!
Yes there are guys in Netball and there is NOTHING wrong about it! (;
Message to my Netballers (If you bothered coming from twitter!)
Really THANK YOU for coming to camp! JIAYOU and STUDY HARD for common test!
Good Luck for your papers! (;

Best Performance in CQ Module (:
So.. there was this day while I was rushing to prepare for school and my bro whatsapp me "You got a letter from Ngee Ann on the table". Usually, I won't look and just rush out of house... but because I was alerted, I grabbed the letter and went off.
On the bus, I opened up the letter and to my amaze, it was an achievement letter! Never expected it at all. I only got an A and not an AD. Who would've expected to get that award? Nonetheless, I was really happy (:
It just feels so good to have an achievement like that, although studying really is quite irritating and annoying.
It's a motivation though! But I'm really quite tired of all the nonsense.
Here's a picture of the letter (:

Purchases from Juz Today
Warning: This is not a very objective post as I'm really negative about my experience.
I was really happy when I saw this Juz Today email that came in which had a "Tweezer (epilator) @ $9.90 only!" promotion in it.
So just one click and I was brought to the page. Everything seemed good, and I thought $9.90?! Good deal there! I might just be able to snob my sister who bought an epilator for more than SGD100. So, I bought it. Delivery time was good! Everything seemed good! Product was from Princess Gems & Crystals. The package came in the usual envelop, and there were brochures included inside, with my purchased product. I opened the package and everything seemed fine, so I just kept it aside.
So just the day before yesterday, I took it out to use it. IT WAS BAD!
Initially I thought it was fine, BUT, I barely used it for a min and it gave off a plastic burning smell. The smell really made me feel uncomfortable. Obviously, I stopped using it.
I wanted to keep everything back and thus took out the 2 AAA batteries. The batteries were new, they couldn't have been the problem! So I took a closer look and I saw a black plastic strip that was hanging out of the machine.
If you take a look at their product description, it says suitable for all areas. So why the fault in the product?
Another instance was my experience with Bottom Slim.
I have never, NEVER, had the thought of stepping into a slimming centre because I felt that they were fake and all. One could never depend on them to slim down the healthy way. And, I was proven right.
I came across a voucher on Juz Today and thought "wow, really?" when I saw the offer of $10 for 8 treatments at Bottom Slim. On top of that, there was a $300 package voucher! I bought the voucher since it was rather cheap. I mean, where can you find an offer like that?? Right?? The minute I bought the voucher, I called up Bottom Slim and made an appointment for the next day. I visited the Novena Square 2 outlet.
Over the phone, I was told that the treatment would last for 2 hours and so I held that kind of expectation when I entered the centre. However, I was ushered to a consultation room and received many explanation about the various problems people usually face and received consultation from the consultant who has been explaining a whole lot of stuff to me before that. So the minute I removed my clothes [I was wearing my undergarments], the consultant started rambling on how serious my problem is for the bottom part of my body and so on.
Immediately after, she introduced a package that I should take up. And there started the hard selling process. The whole package she introduced me cost up to $1000++ and she finally reduced it to $400 after I rejected again and again. So if you come to think of it, these slimming centres are earning a lot aren't they? For one thing, I haven't been really keen on slimming centres in the first place. I thought I'd just try it out for that 8 treatments.
So I told my consultant "it's my first time at a slimming centre and I never ever thought of wanting to slim down through going to slimming centres, I only thought of slimming down the natural way. And, I just wanted to try to see how is the feel like of the treatment as I came across what I thought was a good offer online". My consultant kept telling me "if you would think of buying the voucher, means you want to lose weight one mah. Where got girls don't like good figure and be pretty one". The hard selling lasted for almost 1.5 hours. I insisted I don't want to buy a package and I got a reply like "if you want to try the feel, you can upgrade and pay a little more to try one session first then see if you want to continue".
But no, I just want to try whatever is offered in the voucher don't they understand? After much explanation about the voucher that I bought from Juz Today, the 8 treatments that was mentioned is actually going by body parts! So.... instead of 8 treatments, it's treatment for 8 body parts. For the treatment I did [buy already why don't do right], it was my tummy, inner thigh, outer thigh [yes, inner thigh and outer thigh are considered two different parts -.-] and hips. 1 treatment lasts for 10 minutes [remember I was told I needed to spare 2 hours?] and my consultant combined 2 treatments together so I finished my "8 treatments" in one session, which lasted 20 minutes.
I WILL NEVER STEP INTO A SLIMMING CENTRE AGAIN. IT'S SO USELESS AND THEY JUST DO PURE HARD SELLING. Waste my time.
Anyway, I just wanna say, have bought a few vouchers from Juz Today before and I haven't had a good experience with any. Maybe it really depends on your luck to get a good deal online! But... then again, Groupon has been fine.

Went to the beach!
A little update about my beach trip before I do up a post regarding a product I bought from Juz Today.
So... instead of doing my tutorials at the beach, I tried to study for one of my modules at Starbucks located at parkway parade. I bought a drink and sat there to study, I myself don't know how long I sat there for :/ But there weren't anyone waiting for seats then *phew* but I was waiting for this couple to finish their show when I first got to Starbucks! Haha. Oops!
Anyway, after sitting there with just ONE drink throughout, it would be bad of me to just leave for the beach eh? + I was a bit hungry, so I bought a banana cupcake! It was good *yummmm*
After which I headed to the beach -yes I walked from parkway parade- it isn't that far actually! Just that the part of East Coast I went to wasn't near any restaurant or eatery. It was nice being at the beach! It was something I have been looking forward to since few months back. So... even going there alone was great (:
I was lying on my back (yes on the sand, but my head was on my laptop) and I almost fell asleep. Just shows how comfortable it was (:
Some pictures taken at the beach:

Pilgrimage to China
Finally settling down on a proper blog post. Expect pictures (:
Traveled to China from 23rd Aug to 30th Aug on a pilgrimage trip. Learned some stuff through observation and such. Anyway, I can't really remember clearly now because this trip was in August :/ oops! When there's fun, you always forget the educational stuff. Hehe :P
So, Pictures shall entertain you now (:
Of course, descriptions will be provided!
China was kinda fun? Visited quite a number of places and I can't remember them all with my brain half-working at this hour but I thought I'd just do up a post!
For more photos, you can visit my Facebook page if you have access to it (;

Above 2 taken on the plane during sunrise. Wasn't at a good enough seat to be able to capture the sun! I was trying my best.... ):
This is along the longest highway in the world (can't remember the name). Notice the coloured barrier? The colour changes after a certain distance, and there are many different colours throughout the whole highway! According to tour guide, research shows that changing the colours will make the drivers have better mood while driving! So... that's what they did.
I think this picture was taken at the boat station! We were traveling on boat to 普陀山 if my memory didn't fail me.
Nice eh?! Can't remember where I took this, but makes me feel like such a professional (;
Need not say more, at the temples (:
Food -> breed? :P
So when you flush after use, you must flush angrily! and call for the empress!
Hello, serious matter... these are not reminders for you to flush, they are HINTS! Maybe they'll come out in exams!
When you leave the place, you are being EXPORTED!
Okay this isn't as funny, but still...
Hey you, only silver is accepted... anything else, we may charge at a higher rate. HAHA! Okay I'm typing nonsense already :P
There are so many of such funny things you can find in China! These are all I found on this trip!
Group shot!
Can't remember where I captured this. Nice scenery right! ^.^
I have no idea why people throw money into the bucket, really :/
Cable car ride up the mountain to visit temple!
Taken at the top of the mountain (:
Entering a cave, it was really dark inside
One of the hotel rooms, we switched a few different hotels as we traveled to different places. Can't remember which was this though!
Released this turtle into the 放生池!
Another nice view! China does have abundant nice nature around, unlike Singapore :/
Do you see a face? It is all natural, no man-made effort!

Year 2 Sem 2
Ended lesson early and I thought I still have time before the next lesson starts to do up a post but I guess not. I still have about 3-4 posts in mind? But I haven't gotten the time to write them.
School has been okay so far. Feeling more motivated to do well this semester, somehow. Which is something good (:
So... yesterday I heard a whole lot of crap that made me feel: so ridiculous. I can't be bothered to say more cos that will just make things worse perhaps. Things just go back to square one: I should not believe people so easily... 要相信人,很难。

Holiday!
I realise every time I return to this site, it's been a while since I last wrote something down.
This holiday has been rather fruitful. Traveled to China & India for pilgrimage. Learned quite a fair bit from both trips. People can be so fake at times you really feel like closing the doors in front of them. Eww.
Things have been on and off I feel so lost. Wish things can be solved forever. May that time come soon please. Need the inner peace. Even if I get to go to the beach now it's also gonna be like running away for a short while. That really short period of time.
Shall update on China & India soon!

Life's unpredictable
Dad's friend passed on recently. He's been of a great helping hand to us. Really thanked him for being there even when he's gone. Such things are unexplainable.
I felt really bad when I heard about the news. Also, when I wasn't there for the last night, and even sending him through his last journey. Although he is of the older generation, he was someone you would want to talk to, just a normal conversation with all the laughter. Someone who is cheerful, even when facing his darkest hours.
-Just had the sudden thought to post about this. He's helped us in many ways, know it and really thankful.
Beyond reasonable thoughts
Been about two months since my last post. I've got the feel to come back to blogging, real blogging. Proper blog posts and pictures. Soon, really soon. Blogger has been a good platform for me to pen my thoughts since I started blogging... I don't know why I abandoned it for a while...
Okay, here to do a really short post to vent some stuffs out. I am in full awareness that my blog is not set to private and therefore I really hope you don't chance upon it.
I don't know what to say, but it's really getting beyond what I feel is reasonable and comfortable for me to bear with. So yes, please stop (contradictory to how I don't want you to chance upon it). Marisa, Fadzhana, Xue Zhen and Zhi Heng prob knows what I'm talking about.
It's gonna be hard to pull through, but I've been through too much stuff to crumble at this point in time. I'm not that weak, but I don't know how far my strength will take me to. Limits are never reached, when you reach the first, there's always another. However, if one reaches the first, they may collapse even before challenging the next. Mentally and physically (a bit) drained.

Macdonalds Ban
Been so long since I blogged! Blogger has a new layout D:
Started a 6 months Macdonalds ban with Marisa Namdee since 19 April (with the exception of apple pie)... that was a really smart move cos we went to eat apple pie after training on thur! haha (; Felt fatter after that though ): ***Macs is really sinful
Been eating one meal a day, if I'm not wrong. Haha! Idk why, and I'm HUNGRY NOW! At this hour?! like wth T.T Feel like getting something to eat but at the same time lazy to go get food, maybe I'll just sleep away the hunger. I've to sleep soon anyway!
Miss those days where I kinda blogged everyday. Oh yes, blogging assignment from bcomm =.= not my own thoughts though, quite lame. Shucks it's due Mon.
School's been okay, went for BA Envoys interview, hope they didn't feel that I screwed it up? :/
Okay luh it's over, not much regrets on it so... Just have to wait for the outcome (: Have been skipping micro econs lectures -> who ask it to be like 9am on mondays HAHA! and I haven't really been doing tutorials. But one good thing -> I started listening in lectures cos I print lecture notes! (: Totally helpful for listening in lectures. Laptop's such a bitch at times like these.
Okay gonna sleep stomach growling I cannot tank anymore :P

Loving memories of Isabelle Tan
This may be sort of abrupt, but I just thought it would be the best way to pen down my thoughts.
Isabelle Tan, a friend of mine, has passed on due to brain cancer. I don't know how I should describe this feeling, I never thought I would be this affected. Great classmates in the last 2 years of my primary school life, if I'm not wrong primary 3 too, and school mates for about 8 years. Though I was not very close to her, she's a great girl, I don't think she has had enemies. She's just like what others said: "Close to perfect".
Prefect for every single year that anyone can be, she carried out her responsibilities. We didn't even meet for the last couple of years, since she's left for SJI International. It's a pity that she's left us at this early age. We were once close, I wish we held on to that bond. This incident has made me realised that I have changed, to be overly emotional when I'm stressed. If I didn't screw up friendship with other classmates in my graduating year in primary school, the bond between us probably would have been stronger. In any way, we still said hi and smile when we walked past each other in secondary school. It's a pity to have let the bond weaken.
Went for her wake yesterday evening with Qian Yi and met some others there. In a way her sufferings ended and we should feel happy for her that she won't have to suffer any longer. On the other hand, it's really tough to have to face a friend leaving at this age... and it's tough on her family for losing her at this young age too. I have come to realise that I keep thinking of her. Online sites will have a glimpse of her news. For no apparent reason, I have browsed her Facebook page for a couple of times today. In my memory, she's all smiles.
Isabelle, although we have not been close for the last couple of years, the memories that we spent together will never be forgotten. At this point, I wish I was there to support you during your rough journey. You were strong and brave, it was not easy. Your departure has led you to a better place without suffering. Have a smooth journey ahead. Rest In Peace. ♥

we r actors and actresses
Sometimes I just think to myself: I don't even need to act, it has become something natural.
I always have a front side of me, acting all happy and that I'm living well. All I can say is, as each day passes, it gets worse. I don't know how to face people anymore, just caught up with my own emotions. Why am I so emotional? I don't even fking know. I need to stand strong, maybe I've stood long enough that it's time to crumble. Feel so helpless... but when I head out, everything seems normal. It's a good thing that I can forget all these shit for at least that period of time. Makes myself feel so fake, I'm not even really feeling happy.
