back from OBS!

went for OBS on 25th and just came back today! yupps. Mr Johari got us each one tube of mentos! :D and we had extras that were given to instructors. :)
on to OBS:

DAY 1: arrived at sch for flag raising. sent by sch bus to punggol jetty and then on the sea to pulau ubin. we were all grouped randomly. when i first saw my group, i was like )*@&^@()$*^%@ these kind of ppl in my group?! will i even have fun?! still.. i had to go on with my activities and with the course. we did admin stuff before anything else. we learnt how to belay and i thought it was fun! :D we cooked dinner.. we had rice and i can't remember what, the rice did not burn! :D also, we learnt how to tie knots which basically helped us when we were pitching our tents. there was storm in the middle of the night, and our tents were FLOODING.. so we all had to leave our tents and move to shelter.

DAY 2: we did physical training in the morning when the weather got better. we did kayaking and learnt how to capsize in both shallow and deep waters. also, it was preparing us for our sea expedition on day 3! after kayaking, we went for jetty jump.. but it was high tide so it might not be as thrilling. still.. it was fun!
we also did night walk after we showered and changed. we couldn't use torch lights or anything to help us see except our eyes. we went to the other end as a group, and split up into twos to go back to where we came from. i was paring with magdalene, as she was my kayak partner. when it was our turn, before we entered the path.. i saw a yellow and black fat snake going towards our direction and mag thought i was having fits cos we were not supposed to communicate through words, so i was just staring at the snake and pulling her back. it was a fun experience as we were jumping over everything that looked like a snake when we were going to the other end where we started from at the beginning.. and as we can't see clearly, we jumped over almost everything. also, we DIDN'T use our light sticks! NONE of us did! YAY! :)

DAY 3:we woke up at 5am and prepared ourselves for sea expedition. had breakfast etc. we set of later then planned but we reached before expected time! we had big waves approaching and quite a number within the whole mobile had seasick BUT we still persevered till we reached pasir ris park! where our campsite for the night was. some of us powder bathed but some of us didn't cos their definition of rinse has the word SOAP in it. =.=
yupp! and we wrote our journals and whatever notes to our buddies as well. then we went to sleep. ZzzZZZZZzzzZZzzZZ

DAY 4: we woke up at around 5.30am when we were supposed to wake up at 5. so we were rushing in the morning. yupp.. when all our personal belongings etc were loaded on the sandpiper aka speed boat, we were ready to set off back to camp 2! we set off at 8am and reach camp 2 one and a half hour later! we reached 2 hours before hand. [sense of achievement! :D] though i really wanted to do the jetty jump, most of us didn't want to do so we came to a decision that we all won't jump again since we already jumped the other time. [but the tide level was different.. this time it was low tide] and yupp.. we went on to do rock climbing when we got changed.
i tried the harder wall and i didn't reach my goal. i stayed up there for quite a while.. my hands were dying.. got blisters all over. though i didn't reach my goal, i think i'll be able to go beyond my goal someday.. we'll just have to try harder ;) we didn't have to pitch tents this time because the instructors checked the weather and there was going to be a storm.. so there wasn't really a use to pitch our tents in the dark and get wet after. so we slept in the main hall with 7 other groups.

DAY 5: woke up early and packed our store. zippy came to check on everything at 8.15am. at first we were missing equipments, then we managed to find them back. so yea!! we got everything! :D we did final briefing after that and my mood was already swaying. i wanted to stay but wanted to go at the same time. really enjoyed OBS. far from what i expected it to be. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. we did one final activity like trying to stretch to hit the bell, just like how u will stretch to reach your commitment. and then we did survey and finally gathered at boat shed and waited to go back to punggol jetty, then to sch.

missing OBS but glad to be home..

slept early O_O

my gosh! its so RARE for me to sleep early.. but i did last night. cos i was SUPER tired. *yawn* i slept at 7.45pm!!!! O_O NEVER slept so early b4.. always complaining to my mum it was TOO EARLY to sleep just yet. BUT yesterday i slept at that time!!! i woke up at 9.15 this morning and caught some cute channel 8 shows. just love channel 8 dramas somehow. [don't really like english.. :P] in LOVE with chinese.. i'm chinese!! :P oh well.. don't really like english. opposite from others. TOTALLY.

going for OBS day after tmr :/ going pulau ubin.. dirt coming my way!! HOPE it'll be fun. i'll TRY and make it fun. hope i'm grouped with nice ppl to interact with. will blog more about it when i come back!! hopefully the day itself if i'm not tired.. if not the next day. gonna pack my bag tomorrow. when i get everything sorted out.. cos i just went to get some stuffs today. need to pack early tmr.. so at least i can get some stuffs if i miss out any.. before any shop closes. yeap!
hope OBS will be fun and enriching. hope jellyfishes won't like me. hope sandflies hate my smell. hope leeches hate me too! wish all ppl going for OBS the same thing! all these insects hate us! :D
*are they going to keep our phones throughout the year? :/ i hope not. i hope it'll be safe. i shall decide whether to bring or not tomorrow.. or maybe even mon morning.
*driver quit job cos of his sister-in-law today. so yea.. mum's gonna send me off my first camping day! and pick me on the last :D
*gonna make cookies tomorrow! shall make as many as i can :D
and YES!! my mum agreed to make fried rice before i leave for OBS!! wheeeeee :D

HATE LIT! =.=

ARGH!!! i have to finish TWO lit unseen prose essays by TOMORROW!!! and i don't know what to write cos i really suck at lit and HATE lit. my gosh.. why must it be COMPULSORY?!!!! if it wasn't i wouldn't have taken it. =.= oh well.. i know it'll help someday.. and i have no choice but to take it since its my choice to this sch. LIT, is so NOT MY TYPE. >.<

the whale rider test [chapter 1-4] after OBS.. and guess what? i don't remember what went on in chapter ONE cos i didn't really take note of what i was reading.. AND i CAN'T speed read. that's a sad thing.. cos i'm sooo dead if i don't pass lit, as seow is soooooo gonna kill me. :/

O_O MUST read.. starting,... NOW! :S and i got lots of other work to do. Geog project is out! east coast park here i come! :D explore the coastline O_o
got to fly off as u can tell.. my wings grew stronger since yesterday!!

got my emath test back today. i got 24/30. :( argh!! katrina and shuwen got 27!! and the worst part is, i made like ALL careless mistakes, so did the two of them. haha. hmm.. we were indirectly being compared with the other classes.. "at least 15 of them got 28 and above" like whatever =.= i soooo DON'T like being compared! oh well.. i hate my marks.

i asked mrs logan today if she had marked and our chem paper and she said yes!! and she said there are 3 failures :/ hope i'm NOT one of them.

Chem test was okay yesterday. except my last question =.= i read wrongly!! :( 4 marks GONE!!! SAD. but i think i should be able to pass.. 19 marks out of 35 for formulae, i think i got that. but i don't hope to get a just pass.. :(
lao shi came in after chem test to collect her chinese worksheets then we got a lecture. =.= so totally pissed me off cos its always the same repeated sentence, and it will always be said whenever we don't do smth right. ARGH!! -i HATE naggy ppl.. seriously HATE (except my parents lah. they're DIFFERENT)- do you have something NEW? or do you have this certain speech to follow each time?
to some people: pls don't guess that i'm talking about a certain person when i'm not and tell that person that i was talking bad about her. cos i wasn't that makes me really pissed. i wouldn't have known if that person didn't try to clear up with me.
hmm. i don't know what to wear for sch tomorrow. *confused* no shorts? my shorts are not very short you know? in fact, my skirts are shorter. no denim? why? i don't really have denim anyway. no spaghetti strips? i don't intend to wear them. :P what to wear? sch uni? don't feel like. i think i'll end up with sch uni anyway. haha. ;)

i LOVE our classroom decor!! out of class esp!! the lovely mickey mouse with the cute pop up nose and eyes!!! ^^ sweet! i'm gonna take a pic of it tomorrow and put it up here :) maybe i will take a pic of the whole decor as well :D we did about a little more than half of our decor within recess time in like 40 min!! cool eh? its including that big mickey mouse head and small body :)

i'm tired.. but it was a fun day. :)

i woke up at 8 plus this morning! surprisingly. wanted to go out to order some stuff for valentines for 3co but mother spoiled my mood. got it back though :D
i walked to coronation plaza hoping to be able to get an assesment book for chem, but then.. the shop was closed! i didn't know they closed on sundays =.= then i wanted to go golden rooster to get green apple blended ice, but then.. they were closed too! argh.. so in the end i went to the bubble tea shop on the 2nd level to get my blended ice. and walked home after that. did some exercise but i think it didn't help cos i drank blended ice and i think its like bad..
mum bought me food when she came home.. was still quite pissed with her.. but i thought i was super lame so i wasn't pissed anymore and told her i wanted to go popular.. when Shuwen smsed to ask me if i wanted to go out and study cos she couldn't concentrate at home.
hmm.. we went to study at bishan macs at first. (when we alr saw the no studying sign.. paiseh) then we were chased away during dinner time.. tt guy (i think he's the manager) was like "excuse me, its close to dinner time. pls do not study. we would really appreciate your co-operation" (or smth like that.. didn't really hear what he said.) but they were nice lah.. he knew we were studying all along, but didn't chase us away. hmm.. so we went library to study all the way till the library closed. IT WAS DAMN FREAKY LAH!! we wanted to leave alr when they announced that the library was closing in 5min, but i was waiting for shuwen to finish copying smth. so yea. then they announced that the library is closed "good night" then the lights just switched off!! O_O both of us were damn scared lah cos it was SOOOO dark. argh! then we went to the nearby coffee shop to eat ba chor mee.. was not bad :) then i was sharing some religion believes with Shuwen and she was like so curious. haha! and she was damn scared also.. damn funny. then i'm home! :D mum asking me to sleep.. haha. but i can't! i haven't finished studying! surprising right? study for so long still haven't finished studying. haix.. i can't explain!! DIE. i NEED to know how to EXPLAIN why!!!! argh..
today was a fun day.. but we were both damn tired.. haha. i have a feeling i'm gonna knock off while studying.

Friday afternoon..

We stayed back after sch yesterday to decorate notice board and also do the CNY decorations. didn't help much lah.. and we couldn't really do much b'cos they had the christmas island briefing in our class. i left class at 3 plus cos i remembered i had tuition at 4.. but i was still late anyway. cos my god bro came late. and i went back to class twice cos i forgot my bottle and lit book. so yea. and omg.. the very first time i left class with my bags and everything when i was walking towards the lobby, mrs low saw me and then i think she remembered me from prefects invest :/ she was coming out from the LT i think then she walked forward already but she stepped back.

my thoughts..

i think that some people should just listen and keep things that the other party said to themselves and not spread it around causing arguements to happen for the other party. people say something to you to relieve themselves.. just like how a balloon will explode with too much air in it. its the same principle. how can u be a teacher if you don't even know that?! how do you want a student to believe you that you will keep things to yourself when they confide to you? how will they say how their parents treat them if they know you WILL tell their parents what that student said? all these link to ONE principle. and you KNOW what that principle is.
from this, i can ONLY conclude that you are trying to break them up.. which will NOT happen. they have kids that are by their side.. and will always act like a glue to them. your wish will NEVER come true. NOT even in dreams. that's how a failure you ARE.
from the first impression i got of you.. i NEVER liked you. if you ever realised, i always reluctantly smile at you.. i don't even say hi. not because i'm rude, its just that i don't think u deserve the respect that i give to other adults. you are just another gossiper that i know. you should go be a fish monger since you act like one. and u can say about others who do this and that. for example, not paying for their own stuff. its not like she does not want to pay and does not have the ability to pay, she exchange in order to not let people feel as though she's better than them. as for you, need not say. you DON'T want to pay.. not as if you cannot afford it. more like you don't want to buy it. in front of some people.. you go yes yes yes.. behind them you go aiyah shouldn't this shouldn't that. that is what i call a HYPOCRITE. i don't think its fair to the other party.

Math test, geog lesson ytd, went vivo with Xinwei

Math test was ok and bad at the same time.. i thought i hoped to score for this test because i KNOW the coming tests would be much harder. so i hoped that this test could pull my marks up. but i think no hope now.. cos i think if i'm quite sure those questions are wrong.. i got 12 marks deducted alr over 30, that's like ALOT!!! :( SOBS!!!!

oh ya.. during geog lesson ytd, i think i really made ms leong angry.. i din continue the other questions of the worksheet. But it was not because i didn't want to.. i didn't have time to do it on wed cos i was doing other homework, and i didn't do any work on thur because i was SUPER tired!! i had training after sch then i went to the doctors for obs checkup after that and got a tetanus jab. (its for muscles i think) and my arms are damn suan!!

omg lah!! i went vivo with Xinwei to shop with her today cos she DESPERATELY need to shop. and she kept repeating she was going shopping even after she REACHED vivo. LOL.my arms were breaking lah!! cos i bought my HEAVY hamster food when we went to the petshop when we got there then i was holding it all the way. should have bought it last man!! hand suan now!! :/ plus i just had a jab on thur.. and that added to the suan-ness. cos my hand alr suan before i held the SUPER HEAVY hamster food. =.=
and... while we were walking around, Xinwei was SUPER random lah!! she was like omg your _____ are damn big lah. i was like O_O.. tsk. so mean!! and then i told her cos i'm fat. =.= and she said no.. =.=
