MOVIE!!

hey peeps.. i'm back here!

hmm.. i went to watch mr woodcock with Shu Xin today :D sadly.. i didn't catch the ending cos i went to the toilet! Then by the time i went back.. i only saw the credits rolling. HAHA!!
We went to secret recipe next.. then my friend bought one oreo and one marble cheese cake. I couldn't eat cos i'm vegetarian for a week! :D not that bad actually. hahas!

OH!! we went to the food court to eat yong tao fu after that!! OMG.. i spent $5 on yong tao fu!! and i couldn't believe it myself.. it was filling though. :D YUM!! NICE!!
Then Shu Xin had to go back already.. cos she is going trick or treat tonight!! around our other friend's neighbourhood. She was going to meet up with her friends! We split from there and i came home by bus.. SAVE THE EARTH!! don't drive when you can walk! or when your destination is not very far away! :D
i came home i played AUDI!! till my internet went bonkers again.. i ate chips too!! Jack 'n' Jill.. barbecue flavour!!
Then i watched《女婿当家》again! nice show.. you peeps should watch too :D

wasted my day..

BORED stiff today!! didn't really do anything the WHOLE DAY!! actually.. DIDN'T do anything real fun at all!!

1. woke up - did neccessary stuff.. brush teeth etc
2. watched TV programmes - nth much either.. GOOD MORNING.. not my type. LOLS
3. ate brunch
4.played computer games.. AUDI!!! <33

played solitaire too. not very fun.. always play when my wireless goes bonkers!
5. felt hungry so went to eat dinner.. was about 6 plus?

7. watched《女婿當家》 ( missed quite a few episodes alr.. didn't really know what was going on.. haha )

know what happened just YESTERDAY!!

WHEEEEE!!! i went for the charity show @ mediacorp :D brought my younger brother along.

The show was okay.. oh yes! the funny part!! 陳雷 did a flip and ended with a SPLIT!! sad case, his pants didn't SPLIT like his legs 'did'. LOLS.
oh yes! there were inconsiderate people larh :@ .. don't wanna say who. not gd you know.. anyone can see this :P

had real fun! met up with Joanne at the radio gate.. waited for her car to come out. while waiting, i had a gd talk with Meiling :D not to forget.. i made new friends too! Kimberly and Nicole. Closer to Kimberly between the two. And, they both look alike! when i first saw them, i thought they were sisters. but they turned out to be classmates! :O and further more.. they have the SAME surname! haha.

There was this guy called Baoguang.. he was comparing cuteness and his dimples with Joanne. LOLS. they way he speak very funny.. cheerful guy. made us laugh :D including Joanne.. she had a good time laughing! We all did. :) oh ya.. Joanne said my brother is cute.. i was thinking to myself: little boys are devils at home and angles out there.. haha :P

HOLIDAYS!! :D

Yesterday was the last day of school. The atmosphere, the eye colour of some students, and some were happily taking photos!! Memories are always reflected at this point of the year, and you will also realise how much this class means to a person. As for me, i don't think i would really think about my class this yr, we will still see each other in school won't we? I think i would reflect all these at the end of secondary 4. The point of time where we would normally lose contact after a while. And *poof* only pictures and memories are left most of the time. Hope it doesn't happen to me:D
But!! one very main point.. HAZEL and SHANICE!! I will miss you both!! All of us will!! Do come back and visit us often!! Your new school is not very far away :D -wish you both all the best in your new school.-

We watched TOKYO DRIFT too!!! The cars were so cool! and those drifting skills.. WOW!! but we only watched halfway :( .. and *ring!!....* it was recess and we had to return mrs tsoi her laptop. After recess we had to go for a performance @ the khoo auditorium.. so we couldn't continue our movie [aww] :(
The performance was telling us about deepavali, about how the hindus would celebrate deepavali, etc...

ToDaY :(

we had talentime at 9.40am at the khoo auditorium in school. It was so screwed.. the winners were all voted out by the secondary 1 & 2 students voting within their own level, which made judgement quite unfair b'cos of >> BIASNESS. between friends and enemys, the childish-ness.
oh ya! my class did some childish song.. sound of music you know, DOE a deer a female deer and so on?.. hahas. yea.. and it was embarrassing, but at least we did smth :D

After talentime, we went back to class and waited for our form teacher to arrive with out report books :/ *sobs*.. didn't get the science combination i wanted, but trying to appeal. I got my humans choice! full geog (rox) half lit :D yea..
WHEEEEE... whale rider.. hope it will be an iteresting book :D
today was not a bad day nor a good day.. i'm feeling vexed somehow..
should i appeal? yes/maybe/no? maybe i should give it a shot.. at least i gave it a try :)

Labrador Park MOE adventure centre

It was quite a fun day today.. so-so la.. we ( cca leaders, class reps and pe reps of sec 2 ) went to Labrador Park ( MOE adventure centre ) today. We went as student supports. We were split into 6 different groups randomly, and played games together with the cat high guys ( =.= ).. We shared what was the most memorable thing to each individual, and shared what have we learnt from the games and activities during the debrief at the end of the whole session. The whole thing lasted from arnd 9am till arnd 4pm, we were then brought back to our own schools and dismissed.

At first, my group had difficulties succeeding in the games due to lack of communication and also because we didn't strategize before hand. Throughout the day, we made improvements. We were more strategic and we communicated better with the cat high guys. This made it easier to solve the 'problems' given, giving a sense of achievement in each and everyone of us (not sure abt the guys). I personally felt that the very last game we played, or probably the last problem that was given to us involved alot of thinking, team work, communication and strategizing. The whole group had to cross over the 'electrical fence', which was tied quite high up to 2 pillars at the side, without breaking contact within anyone with the group. ( Shoes touching each other is counted as a contact, so it didn't have to be hand to hand ) This was a rather challenging problem. We had to think of how the first and last person were going to cross over and who should be the first and last ones to cross over. Still, we managed to succeed by the second attempt ( i think), which was quite satisfying. I thought it was quite impossible when we first saw how high the 'fence' was, but we still did it! :D

That marked the end of our day at the Labrador Park. Apart from team work, communication and strategizing, i also learnt that we have to lend our ears to others at times, where ideas are 'piled' up and we pick one as our solution from the 'pile'. It was a fun and enriching day for me :)

NEWater plant

Today, the whole sec two level went to the NEWater visitor centre. We went to see and understand further (been there more than once WITH the school =.=) how NEWater is produced. Not much difference.. in fact, no difference at all! except ONE thing!! was quite cool okay.. :D you shall guess...

It has only been changed after FIVE years!!!!

we're LUCKY! nothing REALLY special though.. they were just changing the filter for one of the systems.. the very first step the water from the reservoirs and other places will go through, MICROFILTRATION the next few steps will then be followed by:

- Reverse Osmosis ( to further seperate water molecules with bacteria that could pass through the microfiltration )

; water can be drunk already after this process, the processes below are just extra precautions.

SO..... NEWater is SAFE

- Ultraviolet Disinfection ( Removes smaller particles including viruses, bacteria, pesticides.. etc )

and

- Conditioning ( additional precaution to ensure cleanliness of water :D )

Enrichment :D

I had enrichment activity today. I was in the Time and Stress Management module :) There were 2 groups to this module as the response was high. The facilitator coaching the gourp that i was in was coach Shawn/Sean(??).


I thought this module would be of much help to me, as sometimes i'm not even sure how i'm spending my 24hrs/day. It sort of did, in a way. I was late though, so i didn't know some stuff that was going on in the first half. Umm.. the coach told me that they went through some objectives of the lesson, what we expect to have learnt by the end of the lesson, and what we were going to do to get our aim and stuff like that in the first half. They also played this string game, i don't know what its called.


After recess, the 2 groups joined into a class and we played games like H2O, and a squirrel and tree game. shall explain to you another time how it is played :D We did yoga after that, it was conducted my coach Pre. I didn't participate much in the yoga activity as my right knee had a wound, so i couldn't really straighten nor bend my knee too much. =(
On the whole, i had quite a good day :D did you?

GE womens run

Today, i woke up at 5.40 am!!! to prepare to meet Hazel (again) to go for the GE run together! The run started @ 8.30am but we had to be there early, like about one hour earlier? It was raining when i woke up, and was sooo COLD. it was practically freezing.. in a way.
I was running the 5km fun run.. stamina is NOT good, haha. Hazel and Shanice beat me to the finish point! ahh... that's how slow i am :D 'turtle'. Lols. The two 'rabbits' didn't stop to sleep halfway, that's why they still managed to win this 'turtle', haha

After the run:
-Stank << obviously
- ate ICE CREAM <<>:/
-blisters on my leg. not popped yet! :/
-went out with Hazel! to bishan J8 and we got the same pair of earrings for $5. :D (i see the stars *H*A*P*P*Y!)
-my leg still hurts when i get home :(
-going to be 12 PM soon.. sleep :O *yawn*

Went running with Hazel :)

Yesterday, I went to Hazel's house to run!
we started from the treetop walk all the way to Macritchie Reservoir, and back to Hazel's house again.

We saw monkeys! They were cute [well, i thought they were :D] so i decided to take some photos, but my phone cam could not zoom in (no idea why), and the monkeys were too far away. Just as expected I went closer to the NAUGHTY monkeys. I took a video of 2 monkeys one siting on top of the other too! :D... but guess what?! another monkey came closer to me and after a few seconds, it started CHASING me! both Hazel and I ran away (normal reaction, if you're a normal person)

yes! we burnt off SOME (very little!) calories overall. because we ate walls cornetto ice cream after that!! both Hazel and I bought the TIRAMISU one. it was VERY sweet but was nice too! but i still prefer the STRAWBERRY one :D

we didn't take a pic of us eating the ice cream.. awww. should have to tempt you ppl.
