haha.. i find it a joke that people can be commenting when they themselves are not even there. i mean, you're just looking what's on screen and don't even know what's behind screen. there are many ways to groom a newbie, and also it takes time to groom a newbie. LNX and XSG might have been good even before they entered the industry but then they obviously would have improved through experience. So why can't the newbies get the chance to act to gain experience?
Some ppl say they come home from work and see ppl struggling to act on screen, since you alr know you won't enjoy it why not just do something else more relaxing then? Do you have nothing else to do to relax but watch tv? =.=
People always find faults with the way things are done.. and there's no point. Please comment only if you are able to in this case act up to their standards. There is a reason for the existance of calefares, and why they remain as calefares. If they had the acting skill, they would have gotten out of that title long time ago. Not everyone pops out to be a star. If everyone is only looking forward to great actors in a show, there'll be only one show for a whole year. =.=”

hey, WHICH artiste doesn't starts off being a newbie?! Please be practical. All of them, including the experienced artiste, all struggled before they become a really experienced and popular artiste, isn't it? No man is infallible, in another words, no one is born perfect. And yes, people can always off their tv or switch channels if they do not like watching newbies act. But get this fact, everyone gets old, and will eventually retire! LNX or Tay PingHui or Huang Wenyong or whoever, aren't going to act for you till the die! Get this! Give the newbies a chance, they will grow up, learn and get experienced throughout their whole acting journey, no ? So yeah, I think Joshua Ang has it all! Who says a good actor must be tall? Who says being rather short in height will be a disadvantage? If you said so, you're insulting Chew ChorMeng, fyi. I think Joshua Ang acts sincerely and put in his best. Just look at ' I not stupid 2 ', I think he did pretty well!
Whatever it is, Joshua Ang's gonna make it big. ”

We can't just anyhow say these newcomers. They might be better than Elvin or worse than him. We just have got to wait and see. Mediacorp and 8 Days etc seems to love Elvin a lot when he entered showbiz. But after 3 years in Mediacorp, he's not that "high" now isnt he? :p
I expect these 3's very first show to be good. Just like the way Elvin was. So we have to see their subsequent shows, not only their first. We can't really determine their abilities on their first few shows, can we?
And yeah, veterans are veterans. I love them all. We can't really replace them. :p”
